Ram 2500 stuck in 4th gear

Oct 18, 2011 · Transmission was flaring between 3rd and 4th gears with delayed garage shifts. Replaced PCM, Torque converter, Pump Assy, cluthes (the 4 cluthes were not burnt, but did have metal grit stuck in the friction material) Installed new clutch and 4C clutch retainer was melted to the reverse flush cooler. Installed new PCM and flashed PCM.

If you were stuck in 4th gear full time (even from a stop, which makes it feel really sluggish), then it is likely an electrical problem (wiring or a bad sensor).
