Warforged druid
So I was thinking about the fact that a warforged druid is essentially a character from Beast Wars Transformers, which led me to wanting to make grimlock, which made me think that an artificer’s homonculus could mimic Lazerbeak from the old transformers, then decided to try to combine the two.

The main drawback to Warforged druid is they can't take a body feat because it violates druidic oath. Also the heal amp penalty of being a magic robot, but I think that goes away if you shapeshift. However, you also lose Warforged racial immunities when you change form, which kinda defeats the purpose of being Warforged in the first place. The Warforged Race offers a fantastic spread of abilities that perfectly complement the Artificer. Firstly, and most glaringly, a +1 to AC. This stacks nicely with class proficiencies, abilities, and spells, leading to a character that has a higher constant AC than the party tank, and can be alarmingly hard for enemies to land hits on.
